Dr. Becky Shum was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. She studied at the University of Toronto obtaining her Honours Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Nutritional Sciences. After her undergraduate degree, she decided to return home to pursue her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of British Columbia.
During her education at UBC, she developed a particular interest in Oral Surgery and Endodontics. Dr. Shum is dedicated to providing exceptional patient centred care, ensuring that each patient’s comfort is her top priority.
Outside of dentistry, you can find her staying active doing many activities including snowboarding, going to the gym, pilates and hiking.
